Was it her fault, all along?

When the lights went off,

The tears fell, she sulked, she cried

It’s the flashback from the past,

Why did he go?

Was it her fault, all along?

Why didn’t they ever teach her, how to live without them?

He left the home one morning, to never come back.

They all waited, she waited

Trusting isn’t easy, any longer for his little girl,

She looked up to him, unless she didn’t at all.

She forced herself to sleep, hoping to see him in her dreams, again

He stood there, wearing the same white shirt and the same smile

The smile that kept her calm

His image, kept her stable

She asked him, why did you leave Daddy?

He disappeared, again.

Was it her fault, all along?
